Rum Island Festival Set for July 11 in Atlanta, Spotlighting Rum, Music, and 5,000–8,000 Attendees

Piedmont Park Promenade (in Atlanta, Georgia) will be hosting the debut edition of the Rum Island Festival this summer. Attendees can expect a variety of premium rum-activations. There will also be live music and a wide range of cultural experiences for the Caribbean Diaspora and others as well. Organizers are expecting an attendance of between 5000 and 8000.

In a press release, the organizers of the Rum Island Festival announced that the inaugural edition will be taking place Saturday, July 11, 2026.

Rooted in connection and cultural exchange, Rum Island Festival unites the sounds, flavors, and traditions of the Caribbean and its diaspora, reflecting the richness and influence of the culture on a global scale.

Headlined by Aidonia and rising Caribbean artist Ayetian, the inaugural lineup also features Trinidadian Soca artist Melick and Brooklyn-born, Vincentian-rooted Added Rankin, with additional acts to be announced. Together, the artists represent both the legacy and evolution of Caribbean music today.

Built on the ethos “Culture. Community. Rum.”, the festival blends live performances across Dancehall, Soca, Afrobeats, Reggaeton, and more with a broader cultural experience. Attendees can expect a high-energy main stage, top Caribbean DJ sets, a curated food village spotlighting island cuisine, premium rum activations, and immersive cultural spaces celebrating Caribbean art, fashion, and identity.

With an expected 5,000 to 8,000 attendees, Rum Island Festival will bring together a dynamic mix of creatives, tastemakers, and members of the Caribbean diaspora, positioning Atlanta as a key hub for globally influenced, culturally rooted experiences.

The festival also partners with Her Village Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting families in need, with a portion of proceeds and on-site initiatives directly benefiting the organization.

With plans to expand into markets including New York, Miami, Houston, and the Caribbean, Rum Island Festival launches in Atlanta with a clear mission: to celebrate and connect Caribbean culture at scale.
